Beyond museums and galleries, artworks like ancient vases and oil paintings have found other exhibition space in the Shanghai Free Trade Zone.
The International Artwork Exchange Center in the FTZ provides services ranging from logistics and customs declaration to exhibition and tailor-made cultural products.
Hu Huanzhong, vice-manager of Shanghai Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone Group Co, said that the center has promoted cultural elements to apply to food packages, clothing designs and even education programs by connecting the demand side with cultural entities.
