Late night bookstore debuts in Shanghai

A new bookshop called Dayin Books & Cook has opened in Shanghai and it only closes at 2 am every day.
The books in the store are mostly related to literature, history, philosophy and art.
Located on Daxue Road in Yangpu district, the 1,300-square-meter store comes at a time when the last 24-hour bookstore in Shanghai – which was located on Fuzhou Road – was shut down due to rental issues.
Dayin Books & Cook consists of two levels. The 250-sqm space on the first floor is open till 2 am while the 1,050-sqm basement runs till 10 pm. The basement features reading rooms for adult and children, a canteen, a recording studio and a space for tea ceremony.
