8. Concern: Terrorist attacks
Although the Syrian army has recaptured Deir Ezzor city, capital of Deir Ezzor province, from IS on Nov 3, and Iran president Hassan Rouhani announced that the extremist organization IS had been exterminated on Nov 21, the terrorists are trying to find new modes of carrying out terrorist attacks.
With so many people killed by IS in the past three years, it is still a concern that the organization may go back to Europe or Africa to commit terrorist attacks threatening the security of those places.
