Masood Khalid, Pakistani ambassador to China, emphasized the significance of the Belt and Road Initiative. He said that Pakistan can gain momentum to fulfill the Vision 2025, a roadmap set by the government to achieve human, social and economic development goals by the year of 2025, under China's proposed initiative.

The Chief Minister of KP province, Pervez Khattak, made a brief introduction of his province and maintained that China and KP can make fruitful achievements on mutual cooperation through the road show. He also addressed a concern by many on security issues of the district, assuring that security is not an issue that troubles prospects for future bilateral cooperation.

Khyber Pukhtunkhwa province, located in the Northwest of Pakistan, borders China's Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region. Though endowed with abundant natural resources, the region isn't performing as well as it could be. The local government is looking to the China-Khyber Pukhtunkhwa Economic Cooperation to usher in a new era of economic progress and prosperity in the province.
